ARIA is a short documentary film. Before I graduated college, I sought to capture the grungy, low-budget (broke) energy of college and my early 20s. Rather than using professional video cameras, I chose to shoot this project on a camcorder in the hopes of creating an immersive, nostalgic viewing experience.

I chose to center this documentary on my coworker, who I believe truly embodies the definition of Aria. She is determined and unwavering, and, indeed, is a striking solo performance.
